This month our branch chairman, Ian Campbell was awarded a Chair's Community Award by the Chair of South Gloucestershire Council.
An award ceremony will be held in March and was given in recognition of Ian’s role in driving the revival of the Staple Hill & District branch.
Ian brought together a committee in 2019 to bring branch back from a pending closure. The committee have worked tirelessly on almost doubling the membership.

Ian was nominated by Councillors Michael Bell, Ian Boulton and Katie Cooper as well as Clive Heath, Chairman of the Mangotsfield Residents Association.
At the same time, the Staple Hill Salvation Army was given a community award. Members and the committee would like to send our warmest congratulations to our friends Colin Hylton-Jones and his team.
