Saturday 8 November | 19:00 – 20:30 Bristol Cathedral, College Green
You are invited to attend a very special evening of remembrance at Bristol Cathedral, marking 80 years since the end of the Second World War.
This moving Concert of Remembrance, set within the Cathedral’s magnificent surroundings, will honour all those who served, sacrificed, and endured during the conflict.
The programme features performances by the Pendyrus Welsh Male Choir and the City of Bristol Brass Band, presenting stirring wartime classics, poignant hymns, and uplifting music of hope and peace. Highlights include Elgar’s Nimrod, John Williams’ Hymn to the Fallen, and Requiem for a Soldier from Band of Brothers.

Adding to the evening’s solemn reflection, readings will be given by Peaches Golding, Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol, and Michael Allison, Somerset Chair of the Royal British Legion.
This promises to be a powerful and memorable tribute, a moment to reflect, remember, and celebrate peace through music in one of the city’s most awe-inspiring venues.
Tickets: £15 | £12 concessions | Free for Serving & Veteran Armed Forces Members and Children
