Poppy Appeal volunteer, Jodie Chilcott was recently given an opportunity to visit the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford.
Volunteers are given amazing opportunities with the Royal British Legion and when the call was put out for the Tattoo last week, Jodie jumped at the chance. Jodie joined a team that collected for the Poppy Appeal and spoke to members of the public about the Royal British Legion and the important work they carry out.
Jodie said ''I have loved volunteering for the Poppy Appeal and this year I am looking to take on a little more responsibility. I was overwhelmed with the visit to the Air Tattoo, it was a great place to volunteer and speak to so many people and hear about how the Royal British Legion had helped them. It goes without saying how amazing it was to see the aircraft on the ground and in the sky!''
