Staple Hill Remembrance Day Parade and Service
The local service and parade is a collaboration between the Staple Hill Partnership, the Staple Hill Salvation Army and the Royal British Legion. The Partnership takes overall responsibility and makes sure that health and safety and insurances are in place.
Sunday 12 November
The Parade
Those wishing to take part in the parade are asked to form up on Page Road by the car park from 1000.
Anyone that has ordered a wreath will be able to pick them up from here. Please bring cash or a card on the day.
The parade will then travel down High Street, onto Broad Street and into Page Park for the service of remembrance at the War Memorial.
Following the service the parade will march back along the route to Page Community Association where the bar will be open for refreshments, giving veterans and service personnel an opportunity to come together with the rest of the community.
Can you help?
The Partnership are again asking the community to help keep the local parade and service going by helping to contribute to the running costs.
