At a recent social of the Staple Hill and District branch, members voted unanimously to donate their raffle takings to the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.
''After seeing the awful news on TV and seeing the horrific pictures of people being killed and displaced from their homes, members wanted to do something. Some have already been providing items that are on their way to Ukraine, but we all wanted to do a little more.'' - Ian Campbell, Branch Chairman.
Members raised a fantastic £150 in total and this will go direct to helping the humanitarian aid effort.
